AmeriCorps Victim Assistance Program

Training

The AmeriCorps Victim Assistance Program provides extensive training to
all it’s members. The beginning of each program year, members receive two
full weeks of training. After this initial training, members receive training
once per month throughout the remainder of the year.

Training topics include but are not limited to Domestic Violence 101,
Sexual Assault 101, Criminal laws, Civil laws, and Crisis Intervention.

Trainers include experts from all related fields; Crisis Centers, Police and Prosecutor Offices, NH Attorney General’s Offices, and other reknown public speakers.
